The Halberg Disability Sport Foundation is Sport New Zealand’s lead agency for PHYSICAL disability. The Foundation’s mission is to “enhance the lives of physically disabled New Zealanders by enabling them to participate in sport and recreation. The vision is very simple – “sport and recreation for all New Zealanders, No Exceptions”.
The Halberg Disability Sport Foundation is a national charitable trust that works with many different organisations to ensure that everyone can take part in sport and recreation including schools, councils, sports clubs, facilities etc. The Foundation’s disability sport advisors can provide courses, information, funding and advice that can help you support your community.
